Matthew

Matthew graduated from Napier Boys’ High School (NBHS) in 2023, where he was the Head Boy. He completed the University of Canterbury (UC) MATH199 course in his final year at NBHS, which earned him the AIMS Scholarship. Matthew is currently in his second year of a Bachelor of Science at UC, double majoring in both Mathematics and Physics. 

Matthew has nearly four years’ experience of tutoring at all levels of NCEA, through franchises and private tuition. He earned a UC Hiranga Scholarship, a UC Maths and Stats High Achievers Award, an Arcady Hall Churchill Julius Scholarship, and a Manchester Unity Higher Tertiary Award. Matthew was awarded top of Level 3 Calculus at NBHS as a Year 12, received excellence endorsements in Levels 1-3 of NCEA and accumulated almost 300 excellence credits throughout his years at high school.

In his spare time, Matthew enjoys watching football, working out, and spending time with his friends. He is enthusiastic about tutoring and his experience enables him to confidently cater to a multitude of learning types and abilities.

Matthew can assist your child in all NCEA mathematics (including calculus and statistics), physics as well as Junior (Years 7-10 maths) mathematics and science.
